Test Ultimate helps users access and manage their UK driving test booking on the DVSA (“Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency”) website (driverpracticaltest.dvsa.gov.uk). When you open a link generated by our service, the App loads the DVSA booking pages inside an in-app browser, automatically enters your details to log you in, and reports the outcome back to our servers so we can provide you with booking-related services (such as monitoring for available test slots).
When you launch the App via a Test Ultimate link, the following details are passed into the App and used to complete your DVSA login:
Once the App has logged you into the DVSA website, it reads a reference/identifier generated by DVSA's website that links your active DVSA session back to your Test Ultimate account, along with the current page URL/path you have reached. This identifier is created by the DVSA website itself, not by us, and is used solely to continue our booking-monitoring service on your behalf. Before each session, the App clears any existing DVSA cookies/identifiers stored in the app to ensure a clean login.
To provide troubleshooting guidance (for example, if the DVSA site is temporarily blocking access), the App checks your device's current network connection type — such as whether you are connected to Wi-Fi, mobile data, or a VPN. This check happens on your device and is used only to decide which on-screen message to show you. It is not transmitted to our servers or shared with any third party.

We do not use this information for advertising, and the App does not contain third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not sell your personal or sensitive user data to any third party.
We handle personal and sensitive user data securely, including transmitting it using modern cryptography (HTTPS). Access to this data is limited to what is necessary to provide the booking service described above.
We retain the licence number, application reference number, and DVSA session data only for as long as necessary to provide the booking-monitoring service, or as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Upon a verified deletion request, we will delete the personal data associated with your account, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes — in which case we will inform you of what is retained and why.

The App is intended for users who are eligible to hold a UK driving licence and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the App does not include any SDKs directed at child audiences.
The App displays the DVSA website within an in-app browser. We do not control DVSA's content, security, or privacy practices, and this policy does not cover how DVSA handles your information. Please review DVSA's own privacy notice for details.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
